Repartition Lollipop – Increase app storage upto 6 GB in Lollipop 5.0 OTA update

Download any one repartition file:

Requirements:

Please make backup of appsIMEI, and all files from phone storage before flashing.

Steps to flash Lollipop OTA firmware with repartition:

Step 1: Unzip all downloaded files in PC using 7-Zip, WinZip, WinRar, etc.
Step 2: OpenA106_Lollipop_OTA_Firmware folder and delete stock EBR1EBR2and MT6582_Android_scatter.txt as shown in below screenshot

Step 3: Open Repartition folder and copy new EBR1EBR2and MT6582_Android_scatter.txt

Step 4: OpenA106_Lollipop_OTA_Firmware folder and paste copied files here

Step 5: Open SP Flash Tool and clickScatter-Loading

Step 6: Select MT6582_Android_scatter.txtfrom A106_Lollipop_OTA_Firmware folder and click Open to load file in SP Flash Tool. It will load all required files automatically
05 - select scatter file
Step 7: Select Firmware Upgrade from drop-down menu (1) as shown in below screenshot. Click Download button (2) in SP Flash Tool

Step 8: Remove battery from phone and connect phone to PC via USB cable.
If it doesn’t respond in few seconds then try connecting with battery (switch off mode).
If still doesn’t start flashing then check whether drivers are installed properly or not.
It may take 3-4 min for flashing. After successful flashing remove USB cable and press power button to switch on phone. 1st boot may take 7-10 minutes.

Step 9 (optional): Check Storage Fix v5 OTA to enable move app to SD card and to use External SD card as primary storage for files
